Not a scope and sequence. A library that actually serves you.

Most online music curricula give you a rigid scope and sequence and expect you to follow it. But you already know how to plan a music curriculum. What you need is a library of high-quality, well-taught repertoire that you can deploy your way — not a publisher's way.

The Singing Classroom is a searchable repertoire library. You search by the grade and concept you're teaching. You watch the video. You teach the song. Works alongside any existing curriculum, or as your primary resource if you prefer.

"I've used published music curricula for 15 years. The Singing Classroom is the first online resource that actually fits how I plan — I find what I need for this week's lessons, not what a scope and sequence says I should be doing."

About The Singing Classroom online curriculum

Both — by design. The library is comprehensive enough to serve as a teacher's primary music resource, and flexible enough to supplement any existing curriculum. Many members use it as their primary resource; others use it alongside a published series to fill gaps or find better versions of songs they're already teaching. It works either way because it's organized by concept and grade, not by publisher sequence.
Yes. Deborah Skydell Pasternack holds complete Kodály certification and significant Orff and Dalcroze training. The library is built with Kodály sequencing in mind and every song is tagged with solfège syllables and rhythmic concepts. Teachers using any method can filter the library to find exactly what fits their sequence. It also works well for general music teachers who don't follow a specific method.
Your subscription includes permission to show any video to your students in the classroom. Many teachers project the demonstration at the start of a lesson, then teach the song themselves. Others use the video as a personal reference before class to prepare their teaching. Both approaches work well.
Yes. The library is fully online and works on any device — computer, tablet, or phone. Teachers on a cart use it on a tablet between classes. Teachers in shared spaces access it from any device with their login. No app required, no download needed.
The monthly plan is $19.95/month. The annual plan is $219.95/year ($18.33/month), with full access to the complete library including all songs, videos, printables, and the lesson planner. The 7-day free trial gives you complete access from day one. A credit card is required, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends without being charged.
